Tri County Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. was established in 1977 in Nokomis, Florida, on the West Central Gulf Coast between Sarasota and Venice.

Tri County is one of the largest air conditioning service and replacement companies in Florida. Our founder, Bill Swanson, Sr., began his business with a small shop installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning and heating systems. In 1987, his son, Bill Swanson Jr., joined the company. Bill Jr. graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in mechanical engineering and is now the President and CEO of Tri County Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc.

Our 37,800 square foot facility in Nokomis, complete with a designer showroom, is equipped with 11 fully operational air conditioning systems for customers to try out. Our newest facility incorporates a state of the art air conditioning system training facility.

More than100 Tri County employees live in the Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte county areas performing jobs in service and maintenance, new construction, new equipment installation, sales, customer service, marketing, financial and administration. We proudly serve over 40,000 customers.

Tri County is a total comfort company. As we provide for the physical and environmental comfort of our customers, we also help people in other ways. Inspired by his Christian faith and love of people, Tri County owner, Bill Swanson created our Comfort Care division to help people spiritually and emotionally.
